xero user documentation this document describes how a user can create an account in xero and use it in the myfundbox subscription product creating a xero account step 1 go to xero com and click on try xero for free button step 2 enter your details and click on the next button step 3 you will get notified for confirmation; go to your entered email for confirmation mail step 4 click on letβs get started step 5 enter you new password and click "activate your account " step 6 enter your business details and click "start trial " step 7 you will be asked some questions to personalize your account retrieving credentials from xero step 8 go to xero developer com and enter the same mail id and password used in xero com to log in to the xero developer account step 10 enter the app name and type of your app step 11 give your application url and redirect uri for your app and click on "create app " step 12 go to configuration in xero developer login after clicking the app you created step 13 click on the "generate a secret" button step 14 copy the credentials and go to myfundbox subscriptions page connecting to myfundbox subscription step 15 go to the myfundbox subscription, click on the configuration module, click on the integration section, and click on connect to xero step 16 enter the client and client secret from the xero developer account and click on save button step 17 click continue with the organization selected in the redirect page successfully connected to xero xero connection configuration step 1 click on the green toggle button to enable and disable xero also delete button can be used to delete xero from myfundbox xero tax rates and account codes step 1 go to xero login and click on accounting in the top bar step 2 click on advanced and go to tax rates step 3 create a custom tax rate and give a name to display in invoice, also fix a percentage rate to apply for the invoice step 4 after creating a custom tax rate, assign this rate in the chart of accounts; for that, click on accounting in the top bar again and look for the chart of accounts option step 5 now search for the type of tax you are looking for and click on it a tab will pop up where you can assign the tax rate you created and customize the account code for that type of tax, which is important to create invoices with the tax you created in xero step 6 to apply the tax you created in xero for the invoice of the payments from xero, you need that account code from the chart of accounts page where you assigned your custom tax rate now open your myfundbox subscription and go to configuration and click on the more info button on xero step 7 click on more info and enter the account code and select the invoice type you want to create the invoice from mfb after integrating xero and click save button for both
