Dunning management
When the payment has failed due to insufficient balance or any other issue, this dunning management feature notifies the customer about the failed transaction and it will allow retrying the payment process again within the given time.
Payments
By turning on this setting, you can set a time to recover the failed transaction and also you can send notification or reminder about the failed payments to the customer. This payments tab is for One-Off payment method only.

Retrying schedule
You can edit the number of days for retrying payment process as shown below. You can also choose the Do not retry option to avoid retrying the payment process again.

Subscription Status
If all retried payment attempts have failed within the given time, You can set the payment status as cancelled automatically by selecting the days from the dropdown menu, it will make the status cancelled automatically after the given days.

You can also leave the status as it is and also you can set the status as cancelled by selecting from the dropdown menu as shown below
