Promotion code

A promotion code is a checkout feature, that enables you can create customer-facing codes that can be applied during payment.

Some of the basic parameters of a promotion code are:

### Percentage 

Discounts for the item in percentage

### Fixed amount

Discounts for the item in fixed amount

### Expiry date 

When a promotion code expires

### Redemption limits

Number of times customers can redeem a promotion code for a recurring plan. By default the limit is set to 1. 

### Redemption limits for subscription code

Number of times the promotion code can be redeemed for each subscription.

### Minimum order

Minimum amount to apply promotion code.

**Note:** The promotional code must not have the same value as the plan amount.
